FAMILY
I am blessed to be a father of 8 great children! They are what give me purpose and drive in life. Fatherhood is the most challenging thing I have done, but it is also the most rewarding and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have 5 girls and 3 boys.
My wife and I home educate 6 of our 8 children, with our two oldest in high school.
We love to do bike rides together, and we love to hike, camp, and be outdoors. My wife is great at maintaining a garden, and there are very few things tastier than fresh salsa from things grown in the garden. It is also hard to beat fresh corn on the cob.
My wife and I also come from families of nine children each. I was third of nine and my wife was fifth of nine. We love our siblings and greatly enjoyed having such close friendships with our siblings growing up. Our children currently have 32 aunts and uncles and over 50 cousins.
To me, family is vital to happiness, and vital to our future as a country and society. I firmly believe we need to focus considerable efforts on strengthening and helping families be strong, healthy, and full of life and vibrancy.
